Eminent Speaker Series

SPH Foundation is proud to have partnered the Singapore Press Club in relaunching its Eminent Speaker Series, a platform that brings together leaders to discuss issues of national importance and encourage informed public discourse on social, economic and political developments.

The inaugural session on 8 June 2026 featured Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, who shared his perspectives on Singapore’s future and engaged with members of the media on key issues facing the nation.

As a first-time partner and sponsor of the series, SPH Foundation is pleased to support initiatives that align with our charitable objective of advancing citizenship and community development through informed, fact-based public discourse on matters of public concern. By bringing together diverse stakeholders for meaningful conversations, the series helps foster greater understanding of issues that shape our society.

More than 250 media professionals, as well as current and alumni recipients of the Lim Kim San Memorial Scholarship, attended the event.
