Lim Kim San Memorial Scholarship Award Ceremony

Funded by the SPH Foundation, the Lim Kim San Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 in honour of the late Mr. Lim Kim San, Singapore’s first Minister for National Development, who was instrumental in shaping the nation’s public housing landscape.
Children’s Cancer Foundation Fund
Education Programmes
SPH Foundation supported the Children Cancer Foundation (CCF) Education Programme for the first time in 2024.
Reading Corner Programme
Education Programmes
The Reading Corner Programme was first set up by then-Singapore Press Holdings in 2006 to promote lifelong learning for students and teachers in various educational institutions. SPH Foundation currently sponsored newspaper publications at 11 educational institutions.
Academic Awards

At SPH Foundation, we believe in nurturing the next generation of storytellers and media professionals. Each year, we celebrate outstanding students from local polytechnics who have excelled in media-related courses through our academic awards.
NUS’ Digital Media Literacy Programme
Education Programmes
SPH Foundation sponsored NUS’ Digital Media Literacy Programme for the first time in 2026. The initiative originated as a ground-up effort by student volunteers from NUS Department of Communications and New Media (CNM) and the CNM Student Society.
