Minor in Chinese Media Programme grooms future journalists

Supported by SPH Foundation, the Minor in Chinese Media programme is a joint initiative by SPH Media’s Chinese Media Group (CMG), the
Department of Chinese Studies at National University of Singapore, and Tsinghua University. Launched in 2025, the programme aims to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese media and nurture interest in journalism as a career. Its curriculum includes a compulsory capstone course, Chinese Media and Society, and an elective course, Journalism and Communication in the Era of AI. Students enrolled in the capstone course participated in a two-week immersion programme at Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2025.
