DBS: Banking on Asia’s Future

SPH Foundation is proud to have partnered with the Singapore Press Club to relaunch its Eminent Speaker Series, a platform that brings together thought leaders to discuss issues of national importance and promote informed public discourse on social, economic and political developments.

Following the success of the relaunch event featuring Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on 8 June 2026, the second session on 11 September 2026 featured Ms Tan Su Shan, CEO and Director of DBS Group. Drawing on her extensive experience in the financial sector, she shared insights on the impact of artificial intelligence and the future of banking in Singapore and across Asia.

 

SPH Foundation is pleased to support initiatives that advance our charitable objective of promoting citizenship and community development through informed, fact-based dialogue on issues of public concern. By bringing together diverse stakeholders for meaningful conversations, the series helps foster greater understanding of the trends and challenges shaping our society.

The event attracted more than 200 attendees, including media professionals and current and former recipients of the Lim Kim San Memorial Scholarship.
