The Theatre Practice's Berries Chinese Theatre Festival: Family Edition
About 100 beneficiaries from CDAC and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund were invited to the Berries Chinese Theatre Festival: Family Edition presented by The Theatre Practice. SPH Foundation supported the production by providing complimentary tickets for these beneficiaries to attend the theatre performances as part of its charitable objective of promoting life-long learning through arts education.
The children and their families enjoyed interactive Chinese plays such as Here Comes The Breakfast Kakis: Imagine Our Songs!, which is part of The Nursery Rhymes Project, taking part in engaging activities to learn the Chinese language. The initiative reimagines classic Mandarin nursery rhymes through music albums, illustrated lyric books and live performances.
